About the event
The world celebrates Auntie�??s Day every year on July 26th. Melanie Notkin, the founder of Savvy Auntie, created the holiday to commemorate and celebrate the relationship between aunts and their nephews and nieces. The day honors women who are aunties by relation and aunties by choice. It includes all the people who have aunt-like relationships with their friends�?? children, even godmothers. These women nurture, inspire, and love the children around them, impacting their lives.
