Held annually at the Sree Sastha Temple in Arattupuzha, Thrissur
district. Spanning seven days each year, typically from March to April,
this grand festival is a spectacle of devotion, culture, and community
spirit. Known as the "Mother of all Poorams," Arattupuzha Pooram stands
out for its unique tradition of bringing together deities from various
temples, creating a divine conclave that attracts thousands of
visitors.?�
It is often referred to as Peruvanam Arattupuzha Pooram, highlighting its connection with the Cherpu, Peruvanam, and Tharakkal Poorams, which all occur just before the Arattupuzha Pooram. The famous divine assembly of the Arattupuzha Pooram takes place early in the morning, featuring more than 80 elephants, making it the festival that parades the most elephants. The arrival of the Triprayar Thevar and the ritual of Kuttiezhunnallippu are of great significance, adding to the grandeur of the event.
